Growing up, we were taught that cannabis was a gateway drug — dangerous, stigmatized, a product of fear rather than fact. This plant, naturally occurring and woven into human societies for thousands of years, had been painted as something to be afraid of.
It wasn't until we started experiencing and learning about it ourselves that our perspective shifted. Once the science caught up with what patients already knew, and clinical use became visible in regulated settings, stigma gave way to understanding.
For decades, cannabis has been shaped more by fear than by evidence. Public perception has been defined by stereotypes and moral judgment rather than research and clinical understanding.
That disconnect is what Skybloom was built to address. As medical evidence expanded, and seeing how people benefited from medical use, our love, respect and passion for the plant bloomed.
